Maryborough Behavioural Health provides high quality psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for women, men, and adolescents in Maryborough and the surrounding region.
Our office is conveniently located in the main street of Maryborough at 175 High St, just around the corner from the Hospital.

Our Approach
Our approach is based on an attitude of open-mindedness and respect for each individual and their particular circumstances. We work together to identify and achieve the goals most important to you and your well-being.
All sessions are completely confidential. The only exception is the legally required disclosure of information if there is a risk of harm to self or others, or by legal subpoena. You can be assured that your private information will be protected and held in the strictest confidence according to the law.
Our Psychologists
Josephine Hunter (BBSc, BPsyScHons, MPsychClin, MAPS), is a Clinical Psychologist.
Jo is a registered health practitioner with the Psychology Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Jo also has full membership of the Australian Psychological Society.
Jo accepts referrals for local people from adolescence through to ageing adulthood on issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, personality conflict, trauma, and coping difficulties.
The aim at MBH is to provide a welcoming, safe and non-judgemental environment in which all clients can feel free to discuss their thoughts, feelings and experiences with someone who understands.
